Game Description:
Tug of War Math is a game centered around addition and subtraction problems for Grade 2 level students. It uses vibrant, colorful graphics of cows and a farm to make the math practice entertaining for young learners.
A Competitive Approach to Math
Fun, innocent action combined with problem-solving is a great way to teach math skills to children. Tug of War Math takes an interesting approach to addition and subtraction practice by using a farm as the setting of the game. There are two cow characters, one inside a car on the left side and the other inside a car on the right side. There is a thick piece of rope tied to the back of each car.
The game will display a math problem with three possible answers. The child’s character is the cow and car on the left side. The objective is to choose the correct answer to the math problem to give the child’s character the strength to pull the other car a little bit further toward the finish line. The child shouldn’t take too long to answer, or else their opponent will pull them. If the child quickly answers the problems correctly, they will win the tug-of-war contest.
Practice While You Play
Tug of War Math provides the opportunity for Grade 2-level children to learn addition and subtraction by combining movement, speed, and concentration. If they have already completed the Grade 1 version of the game, they will have the skills to continue with this game.
