Game Description:

This Math Pug game is for children who have completed the Grade 1 game and are now moving on to the more advanced Grade 2 game for additional math practice. It’s a playful game that gives children a fun way to learn about adding and subtracting numbers.

Build Stronger Addition and Subtraction Skills

Your child will tap the screen to select the appropriate options and make the math game appear. The gameplay features a flying pug dog with a jet pack on its back. The vibrant purplish-blue background contains depictions of stars, skylight, and rocky terrain. Your child doesn’t have to control the dog. They only have to solve the math problem presented at the top center of the screen by tapping one of the four answers presented in a vertical alignment on the right side.

The child must tap one of the answers quickly, though, before the pug dog flies toward the answers. If they take too much time to answer, or if they tap the wrong answer, they lose a life. There is a total of three lives available for the pug dog. If all three lives are gone, the game is lost.

Turn Math Practice into Fun Learning

Math Pug (Grade 2) does a good job of teaching basic mathematics in a fun and exciting way. Children are encouraged to quickly think about and solve the math problem before the dog crashes into the numbers.

How to Play

Let the game load and tap the “Start” button
Select the Operation to practice: “Addition” or “Subtraction”
Select the Difficulty Level: “Easy” or “Hard”
Tap the “Play” button
Tap the right answer to the math problem by one of the four choices on the right side before the pug dog reaches those numbers
Continue tapping the right answers until you win the game
